Archit, you have proved to be really lucky for me. I always dreamt that once you grow big, I will go on lots of trips.. Just you and me. But it seems you brought with you that travelling luck. Probably, this is the reason we have been travelling so often. Goa trip. You were totally excited about the trip and you had blast in Goa. You did every thing, going in sea, playing with sand toy on beach, boating, posing and walking on the beach. In fact, you were upset that you have to miss parachute (para-sailing) this time :) with a hope that you can do it once you become big. You were at your best behavior during the trip. Gave me no trouble with washrooms or food. Thou, as a mother I am worried that these days you normally avoid healthy food but I am still hopeful that I will be able to improve your eating habits with time.

New year and Ahmedabad trip

2-Jan-14	New year started.. On one side Archit has amazed us with his grasping power… On other side, I am little concerned about his fears for trying new things.. Hope it will improve with time and he will become more n more confident. Another major issue which we faced this year was his frequent health issue but other good thing was he has been fully adjusted in  day care. I just wish my son a healthy and happy new year :)
10-Jan-14	Archit and his fear for bathrooms.. I love travelling and want to pass the same to Archit, but his fear for bathroom is now creating questions in my mind.. I know it will subside with time but at present it is the biggest issue when I start planning for any trip. We have just came back from Ahmedabad, where we went to meet Kamlesh, Preetal and Sara. First thing, I did was thanked my stars as there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, but still Archit was reluctant, somehow he managed toilet but was not ready for potty. Next day, we had plan a whole day site seeing. I asked Archit to do potty, I tired everything love, anger, fear but to no use. Moment we reached Aksardham, Archit asked me for potty, but unfortunately, all they had was Indian toilet which he refused to use. After lot of pressure, I decided to leave the matter but we can see the uncomfort on his face and his need for godi. It was only during lunch time, he decided to use temple's bathroom for relieving himself. rest whole day went good, we enjoyed at Akshardham and Kankaria lake. But if you see the pics.. from cute smiley, spontaneous face. Now I just got irritated face. Somehow, You didn't Njoi getting photographed in this whole trip.
10-Jan-14	Ok, my bad, I just mentioned all negatives.. Now positives from the trip.. You were looking quite cute as were carrying ur own luggage bag :).. Everyone termed you as shant kid. You are quite comfortable in company of other kids..in fact you love the company. I like the way you share your toys, the way you treat other kids, gave doke to everyone, got mingled fast and you did cleaning up for someone's else mess. And this was your first diaper free trip. Believe me Mumma and Papa are so proud of you :)

Terrible two started ;). Archit looks grown up.. Is completely naughty, have mind of its own.. But still fun.. He recently amazed us by singing whole 'Jan gan man' song. He is fully potty trained know. Next step would be milk bottle for which I am not in hurry :)

Mahabaleshwar trip: First trip with deloitte colleague. 5 families and abbas. Never thought it will go so well. People gave amazing company. Was totally at ease. Archit was excited and happy. He was initially little afraid of bathrooms as was uncomfortable with hotel bathroom. But did not give trouble in bus or car. Thou he was wearing diaper thru out but he actually didn't use it at all. I was totally impressed by this. It became little tiring when Archit refused to walk at all when we went for waterfall. But he truly enjoyed horse ride and   camel ride.
